Summary
Trenona Farm is a working farm of some 250 acres run by David and Pamela Carbis with their children Sarah and Paul. The farm has 160 beef cattle and 200 breeding ewes with 60 acres of cereal crops. Guests are welcome to see the animals and to explore the countryside using the footpath network to the coast (3 miles) or inland.
Location
Trenona Farm is situated between Tregony and Veryan near the entrance to the Roseland peninsula and therefore has good access to it but also to the rest of the county, most of which is less than an hours' drive away.
Type of Room
There are four guest bedrooms all of which are double/family rooms sleeping up to four people. They all have tea/coffee making facilities, remote control colour televisions, clock radios and individual keys. One room has en suite facilities with bath, shower, W.C. and hand basin; two of the rooms are also en suite with electric showers, W.C.'s and hand basins, and the fourth has an adjacent private bathroom with bath, shower, W.C. and hand basin. All bathrooms have electric shaver points.
Directions
From the North
From A30 take A391 to St. Austell. Then follow A390 towards Truro. After bypassing Probus take A3078 to St. Mawes. Follow this road for approx. 6 miles past Tregony and after a further 2 miles the Esso garage on the left. Trenona Farm is the second farm on the left hand side, before the Information layby.
From the South:
From the A39 (Falmouth to Truro) take B3289 to the King Harry Ferry at Playing Place. Take the car ferry. At the top of the hill take left turn to Philleigh and Ruan High Lanes. At Ruan High Lanes take A3078 to Tregony/Truro. After passing the Information layby Trenona Farm is the next farm on the right hand side.
