With such a fantastic coastline it would be a crime if Cornwall's superb seafood wasn’t high on the menu of things to enjoy during your stay. The South West Coast Path National Trail – 630 miles in total – is really splendid for coastal walking. The award winning Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay or The Eden Project will keep you occupied, as well as the beautiful nature of places like the sandy cove at the National Trust’s Chapel Porth near St Agnes, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan, near St Austell. The west of the country has the popular areas of Hayle and St Ives, Lands End, Mount’s Bay (with St Michael’s Mount) and Penzance and leads on to Falmouth – Cornwall’s largest port.
