The World Heritage Site of Stonehenge needs no introduction and is an ancient monument of huge significance.Salisbury is a beautiful medieval city and its Cathedral, with the highest spire in England, cannot fail to impress.  Just outside the city in the riverside location is The Wilton Shopping Village, with a wide range of shops.

Wiltshire’s Kennet and Avon Canal offers the gentle pastime of canal boating or the chance to stroll or cycle along the canal towpath and take advantage of the many friendly pubs along the way for a well-earned rest.

Somerset offers visitors the drama of Exmoor, the mysticism of Glastonbury and the fascination of Wells (the smallest city in England).  The north of Somerset’s coast features such delights as the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare, the coastal towns of Clevedon and Portishead has miles of surrounding glorious countryside and spectacular coastline to explore. The Cheddar Gorge show caves, a series of labyrinthine underground chambers, are always popular to visit as is watching the traditional Cheddar cheese making at the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company.
