Visit Aberystwyth for a vibrant, bustling, experience! Sweeping down to the shores of Cardigan Bay – a favourite amongst visitors to this part of Wales – and a perfect starting point for exploring this stunning region – take the steam train across dramatic scenery to Devil’s Bridge – wander around the ruins of the castle – enjoy the wonderful view across the bay, there are countless ways to savour this cosmopolitan resort! A favourite amongst the locals (always a good recommendation!) is New Quay – famed for its rich abundance of sea life, from the Heritage Coastline to the forests and uplands of Pumlumon, half an hour’s drive away. Dylan Thomas lived here and was inspired by the beauty of Ceredigion to write ‘Quite early one Morning’. Take a boat trip out into the bay to spot the dolphins and seals or enjoy a walk and absorb the natural beauty of this stunning area.
